Criteria · not a #1 list

How to choose a prop-style funded account in India.

Simulated Indian index evaluation, not a broker and not live capital. This page will not invent a “best prop firms” podium. Use the checklist, then see where FundedSmart fits. Rewards are not guaranteed.

Seven questions

The checklist, before the pitch

  2. Simulated vs live
  3. Drawdown type
  4. Consistency rule
  5. Fee vs deposit

Works on any brand. We answer all seven for ourselves below.

Why this is not a ranked “best of”

Rankings need audited data we do not have. What we can publish: criteria. FundedSmart is one Indian-index option — simulated, INR service fees, published plan limits, discretionary rewards. Peers differ; Compare is the structural matrix, still not a scoreboard.

FundedSmart fits if

  • You want simulated NIFTY / BANKNIFTY / FINNIFTY / Sensex in INR.
  • You want drawdown, daily loss, and news rules in writing before you pay.
  • You accept discretionary rewards — not a salary and not guaranteed funding.

A global FX prop may fit if

  • You primarily trade FX pairs or gold CFDs in USD/EUR challenges.
  • You need a brand with a long public track record in those markets.
  • You should still verify simulation vs live claims on that provider’s site.

FundedSmart plans after the checklist

After the checklist, these are FundedSmart’s three public plans — facts, not a vote against unnamed competitors.

One phase to prove your edge. Hit the target, respect the limits, then move to funded stage.

From evaluation to funded stage

If FundedSmart fits the checklist, this is the path. If a global FX firm fits better, go there — we are not a dollar FX prop.

01

Choose your challenge

Select Instant, One Step, or Two Step. One Step and Two Step go up to Fund 1 Crore. Instant stops at Fund 50 Lakh.

02

Meet the plan rules

One Step and Two Step: hit the profit target inside the loss limits, on at least 4 trading days per phase. Instant has no profit target: stay inside funded-stage limits and complete 4 profitable days.

03

Reach funded stage

Funded-stage simulated account and discretionary rewards if you qualify — never “best payout” claims.

Choosing a program FAQ

No invented ratings.

FundedSmart does not publish a ranked list. Use the checklist on this page and the structural table on Compare. “Best” depends on market, rules, and whether the product is simulated.

At minimum: simulated vs live, drawdown type, daily loss, news rules, whether the fee is a service fee, and whether rewards are discretionary. FundedSmart’s answers are on Rules and Rewards.

It is built for that niche (simulated Indian index F&O in INR). That is a category fact, not a #1 ranking against unnamed peers. Compare structure, then enroll only if the rules fit you.
